Big skies, wagging tails,
and play all day
At PetCaddy, we do things differently. Our open-space ranch gives your pup room to run, sniff, roll in the grass, and soak up the good life just like dogs were meant to.
Every day here is structured, supervised, and full of tail-wagging fun. No kennels. No concrete. Just fresh air and freedom.
Not a dog parent? We welcome cats and bunnies too. If you have a different kind of pet, just ask, we’re happy to help.

This was his first time away overnight and they were very welcoming and kind and made us feel like he would be taken great care of. When we picked him up he was so happy to see us and I could tell he loved it! We will definitely be back!Posted on Google Katie Van AsselbergTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Have you ever had your dog take you for a walk? You know …the constant pulling and ignoring any commands that you give. This was my relationship with my 3 year old Doodle. It was manageable until it wasn’t. She was distracted and bolted one morning after the ice storm…I fell and shattered my wrist and broke my arm in two places. Fortunately I found Pet Caddy to board her while I went to New Orleans for surgery. Meeting James Turner was a Godsend for me. This young man is polite and attentive and very knowledgeable to “all things dog”. Two months later I fell and broke both my knee caps. My Orthopedic surgeon said, “Get rid of the big dog… falling again would be catastrophic.” This is where James Turner comes in. I already knew I trusted him because we boarded there. This young man took a spoiled and headstrong doodle and spent one week in intensive leash training and the recall command for Lizzie. If it had not happened to me, it would be hard to reason that this could be done in one week. I now have a very well behaved Doodle who actually responds immediately to walking on leash with no pull whatsoever and comes immediately back to me when summoned. James had to work with me also a bit, because I used to “baby talk” my dog. He took time to educate me in how to develop a strong and authoritative relationship with my dog. Now I do not have to get rid of her and I feel safe while walking her. James Turner is a hidden gem in Spicewood with a large property for boarding, a big heart for handling dogs and their owners, and a vast knowledge of training dogs with connection. Thank you, James, you are the best and I am grateful!Posted on Google James StewartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have two high energy dogs and were a little nervous about trying a new boarding facility, but James and Ty were fantastic. They took great care of our dogs for 6 days, and it was clear they had a great time. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be using them again!Posted on Google Maddie MucherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would 100% recommend bringing your pup here! We brought our dog, Rhea, for a last-minute boarding stay, and James and his family were incredibly accommodating from the start. One of the things we loved most was that Rhea got plenty of socialization with other dogs and multiple opportunities to play outside each day, rather than being confined to a crate or isolated for long periods. We were so happy with her initial experience that we decided to extend her stay and opt for the training program—and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Unlike some boarding and training facilities that rely on punishment-based methods or harsh corrections, James takes the time to build a genuine relationship with your dog and uses positive reinforcement to teach and motivate them. James is an exceptionally skilled trainer, and the transformation we saw in Rhea was remarkable. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and training Rhea received, and we will absolutely be bringing her back in the future!Posted on Google Jessie Montgomery StewartTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our 5-month-old puppy had a great first overnight experience at Pet Caddy. Ty had great communication, ensured all our questions were answered in advance, and shared some photos of him having the time of his life with his new friends. James was very knowledgeable and gave us great feedback on our puppy after. We have already booked his next visit!Posted on Google Will A.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The absolutely best boarding service I’ve ever experienced.
